Ravel: Piano Concerto for the Left Hand
World-renowned Argentine pianist Nelson Goerner is the soloist in Ravel's Piano Concerto for the Left Hand, commissioned in 1929 by pianist Paul Wittgenstein, who had lost one of his arms during World War I. Wittgenstein premiered the concerto in 1932 and it has since been a constant audience favorite.
