Wagner: Lohengrin

Prelude to Act 3 in Wagner's opera

Lohengrin was first performed in 1850. The story is taken from medieval German romance, Parzival by Wolfram von Eschenbach and its sequel Lohengrin, itself inspired by the epic of  Garin le Loherain.
