Hellstenius: Still Panic

Bass Clarinet with restless energy and drive!

Still Panic is a concert for bass clarinet and orchestra in one movement, commissioned by the orchestra in connection with it's 250-years anniversary in 2015 (OPUS 250), and written for our bass clarinet player Diego Lucchesi. The title is inspired by the British composer Harrison Birthwhistle's work Panic.The work rotates around a rather limited repertoire of musical material, and in particular a fast, nevrotic, rotating figure is central.
