Tchaikovsky: Symphony No. 5
A gripping symphonic journey.
Symphony No. 5 in E minor, op.64, was composed in 1888 and was premiered in St. Petersburg with the composer himself conducting. The symphony contains strong emotions, beautiful and dramatic parts and melodies which goes from fight to heroic victory. Andrew Litton, the orchestra's former Chief Conductor, is leading the orchestra.
